A round about post

I rarely touch upon political issues in my blog and the simple reason being, I hate politics and the politicians too. There would be a lot many people who have same views like me. And I love such people, esp if they are girls who don’t have a boyfriend since I am also an available bachelor with a decent job in a leading Indian FMCG company. So if any of the girls reading this think they need a nice seedha saadha banda as their boy friend please feel free to contact me. The reasons that an eligible iitian bachelor like me doesn’t have a girl friend are a lot but most important of them are ‘Bhagwan ne theek thak see shakal dekar aise competitive jagah par daal diya jahan ek ladki par kaam se kaam 10 -12 acche sunder susheel bike (now even cars),lambe ballon wale fashionable smart dudes fight maar rahe hoon!!! To mere jaise average academic record wale, room par baith kar chup chap magai karne wale bande kaa hota bhi to kya???.

The last paragraph should give anyone a fair idea how despo I am and many of my iitian friends? I was thinking about talking on a very serious note and suddenly my inner urges came up. So let’s leave them there and get back to politics.

I actually had an interest for psephology (chunavi ganit = kahan se kis party ko vote mile, which place is strong hold for which leader, what issues would probably have worked in which phase of polling etc etc.). And that is the reason for me being able to easily recall the constituencies of most of the heavy weight leaders in the country. But this interest could not bear the number of scams we have had in our country. Now we don’t choose a good leader in the polls. What we choose is, “Who is a smaller crook, kaun chota rajan hai, because we mostly have choice amongst chota and bada gunda’s only”.

So the sugar scam, telecom scam, bofors scam, share scam, ticket scam, fodder scam and many more such scams lead to demise of my active interest in political scenario of the country. The only thing that again forced me to read political news after a gap of atleast 5 years was my preparation for CAT. And it seems, I didn’t read enough so I will have to do that again.

Anyways what’s the point of all this senseless aimless talk!!!

Well the point is that there was a terrorist attack in J&K day before yesterday and I didn’t like the way our great politicians have been dealing with the situations. Hence mera sota hua zameer jaaga aur maine socha kee main bhi ’35 logon’ ke liye shraddhanjali ke kuch shabd likh doon.

So what’s the cost of life in this country???

I hope every one of us remembers the figures hazily heard in the news

“Mukhya mantrijee ne ghayaloon ke liye ghatnasthal par aarthik sahayata kee ghosna kee. Ghayalon ko Rs10,000 Gambheer roop se ghayal logon ko Rs 50,000 aur Mratak ke parivarjanon ko Rs 1 lakh sarkar dwara jald se jald diye jayenge.”

So cost of lives of most of us is around 1 lakh rupees in this country in the eyes of government of India. Bas yahee keemat hai hum logon kee zindagi kee!!! (Ab 108 crore mein kuch maar bhi jaayein to kya farak padta hai, untill and unless its a relative of some VVIP or something)

If government has to spend more than that money to protect an individual, it would rather let him die. And that is what seems to be happening. Americans or Europeans don’t die so easily. And if they actually die then the terrorists are made to pay more than dearly for there acts.

In this context I would like to bring in the reference of Bhopal gas tragedy. Indian government asked for a huge amount of money for union carbide which they declined. The case went up in UN court of justice and they got out by paying a petty sum of $300 million. Do you know why? Because they had a very simple argument. They paid us the same amount the Indian government would have paid in case of such a tragedy. When our government doesn’t value our lives how can we expect the outsiders to? The CEO of union carbide later accepted publicly “Had the same tragedy occurred in US union carbide would have gone bankrupt”

But to expect from the government would also be a mistake when I don’t believe in politics and politicians. When I don’t take initiative to change things why should I look forward for a better tomorrow? When I can’t even take the pains to go out and vote even when the government declares a holiday for the same, how can I expect the elected representatives to be responsible for me. And this holds for atleast 40% of the citizens of the biggest democracy of the world because normally the voting percentages don’t cross 60. Whatever who cares, main to jaldi se kat loonga yahan se.

My take on the terrorists!!!

Yaar I have never been able to understand their frame of mind. I know they are mind washed to kill people in the name of jihad and they are like programmed robots to kill Hindus or christens or any non Muslim.

Firstly I am never able to believe in a religion which can actually guide people to kill. Secondly how can they kill Muslims if they are here to kill Hindus? There have been several instances when they have damaged dargahs and brutally massacred Muslims too. There was killing of Muslims a few days ago!!!

Hence I don’t see them as a threat to Hinduism or Christianity but to the whole humanity (Do I sound like a seasoned politician? Thode heavy dialogues to allowed honge yaar!!! Bear with me, post is about to end). They are killing machines who will kill anyone for money because none of the religions is there own. And this is the reason that Pakistan faces so many internal terrorist attacks. And none of the places that these terrorists come from is a safe one for a shareef aadmi to live.

To conclude this weird post which went around the world to get to the point!!!

A killer belongs to no religion. The only motive of his is ‘MONEY’
